End of Semester Events

Before you gather 'round the Christmas tree, attend one of the 5 events happening this weekend.

Before you lock yourself in your room to cram for next week’s finals or pack for your journey home, come out to our end of semester events! Support your fellow students who have been hard at work for the past 16 weeks with showcases of our students’ labors.

Tonight, we have two different events that will take place on campus and give you an excuse to put off studying. At 7:30PM in Mundelein’s Music Hall, our classical student musicians will perform various pieces in the end of semester Classical Chamber Recital. Although the recital is free we urge you to reserve your seat by going to our online ticketing page.

In our Mullady Theatre, located in CFSU, tonight as well, our Winter Dance Informance will begin at 7:30PM. Support dance students from all classes and levels and celebrate the hard work of our dance program! Numerous dance styles, ranging from ballet and modern to jazz will be performed. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $10 but hurry! These tickets are nearly sold out!

As always, our Ralph Arnold Fine Arts Annex will be open from 12-4PM tomorrow for one of your last chances to see our Opposite of Slick exhibition profiling Chicago screen printers. Take a break from hitting the books and take in some gorgeous pop art!

Once more in the Mullady Theatre on Saturday, students in the composition class of Loyola’s dance program will perform original dance numbers created and choreographed by their peers in our Dance Composition Performance. Beginning at 7:30PM, we encourage you to reserve your seat prior to the show despite there being no charge for admission.

Our last event before this semester’s final exams will be our Musical Theatre Repertoire Workshop at 2PM in the Newhart Family Theatre. Students from Loyola’s musical theatre program will perform collaborative and independent selections in this capstone showcase. There is NO CHARGE FOR ADMISSION so attend one last DFPA event before the fall semester comes to a close!
