If you’re finding yourself without anything to do this weekend, try and check out the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival! A celebration of local visual arts, crafts, music, and dance, the street festival only asks a $5 donation per day as admission. If you’re looking to go all three days, you can purchase a wristband that includes local discounts in the price.
There’s plenty to do on site, as live performances are enhanced with side attractions like complimentary photo booths, screenings of cult classics like Labyrinth and Spaceballs, food and drinks by local restaurants, and two huge open air markets chock full of local wares.
The festival runs 4-12:30 PM tonight, 11 AM – 12:30 AM Saturday, and 11 AM – 10 PM on Sunday.
