As a special treat for the final concert of the 2012 “Music of the Baroque” season, Chicago’s Harris Theatre is offering $10 main floor tickets to all students! Residing on the north-end of downtown’s Millennium Park, this modern performance space hosts both dance and musical events.
The season finale will be held Wednesday, May 23rd at 7PM featuring pieces by Mozart, Haydn, Dittersdorf, and Vanhal. The theatre’s very own music director, Jane Glover, will be conducting the Music of the Baroque Orchestra. Prior to the concert, a lecture will be held at the Chicago Cultural Center at 6PM with acclaimed vocalist and host of Beethoven Satellite Network, Peter Van De Graff.
Students may call the thetare’s box office at 312.551.1414 to order tickets. Students must show a current school I.D. when picking up their tickets.
