Rapid Pulse Festival

Chicago’s Defibrillator Performance Gallery is looking for volunteers for their upcoming Rapid Pulse International Performance Art Festival June 1-10th!

With a plethora of volunteer positions including video and photography documenters, visiting artist’s guides, archivists, gallery/install assistants, technical assistants, promotions/street team, hosts/guides, bar/food tending, there’s plenty to learn from working.

In addition to this being a great experience to add to your resume, volunteers will receive a free T-Shirt and partake in free, daily vegan group lunches with artists/curators/others involved and involvement in parties and social events. With more than 30 performing artists and a large part of the community getting involved, it’s a great way to meet others and expand your global art connections.

Volunteers will most likely work from 11AM-11PM (with lunches, breaks and downtime included) and should expect to work at least 2-3 days during the festival. Orientation is currently scheduled for Saturday, May 19th. Volunteers will also be needed May 27-31st to help set up for the festival.

Prospective volunteers can contact Coordinating Director, Autumn Hays, via email or by calling 858.373.7746. Even if you can’t volunteer, be sure to stop by this international performance art explosion!
