Our Clients

The Life After Innocence Project currently has three clients.

Jerry MillerJerry Miller spent more than 24 years in Illinois’ prison system for a crime he did not commit. A client of The Innocence Project, Jerry was paroled in 2006, and in 2007 he became the 200th person in the U.S. exonerated through DNA evidence. Despite the fact that Jerry has proved his innocence and even been pardoned by the governor, he has yet to receive any assistance from the state. A natural negotiator and deal maker, Jerry’s future goals include starting his own business.

In 2005, The Innocence Project took on his case and won his release on May 27, 2008 when DNA evidence established he could not have committed the crime for which he was convicted. Dean is still waiting to receive assistance from the state. A family man, Dean’s goals include spending quality time with his sons and fiancee, who supported him throughout his wrongful incarceration.
